Leo, I am not necessarily a vet, though I do work with animals. I'm not comfortable tearing out its vocal cords. Sorry this bird annoys you; I find him/her to be quite a magnificent animal. Anyway, sorry to annoy you by making this bird fly back to you. -- Semper

to anyone who's reading, don't worry, i wasn't serious about having the cords removed. he's annoying as hell but i wouldn't hurt him. i'm just trying to tire him out. and now i get to see how good he is. you might not get to read this if he decides to go to someone else, but i suppose we'll see. -- leo.

Well that is good. He's a very good bird and, as obnoxious as he is, he certainly lets me know he's arrived. He seems constant too, knew exactly where to find me even though I did not really leave the place he found me the first time.

semper, well that's good. i guess those bird scientist guys trained him well. i need to decide on a name for him now, though. he came with the name "fred" which is a little too plain. -- leo.

Leo,
Yeah, Fred sounds a bit too plain. I think you need a robust name for this bird. Something with a good meaning.
